Early Results from Fall Assessments

Understanding Student Needs Research Brief by Curriculum Associates

Curriculum Associates Research Brief

According to an analysis by Curriculum Associates, which serves 30% of K-8 students in US, results of the i-Ready Diagnostic this fall for in-school testing suggest that the effects of COVID learning loss — while evident — may not be as precipitous as observers feared, especially in reading.

The analysis, which suggests improved student outcomes for at-home test takers, also raises important questions about at-home testing.

The American Consortium for Equity in Education, publisher of the "Equity & Access" journal, celebrates and connects the educators, associations, community partners and industry leaders who are working to solve problems and create a more equitable environment for historically underserved pre K-12 students throughout the United States.
