Lightspeed Wins Consecutive THE Journal New Product Award

Lightspeed, a leading provider of powerful instructional audio solutions, announces that its Mobile PA offering has won the Platinum THE Journal 2022 New Product Award in the Classroom Audio Distribution/Sound Enhancement category. This is the second year in a row that Lightspeed has won a New Product Award.

THE Journal’s New Product Awards honor outstanding product development achievements of manufacturers and suppliers whose products or services are considered to be noteworthy in the transformation of education technology. The program highlights leading product and service providers–like Lightspeed–in education. This year, they had the most submissions they have ever received.

Lightspeed Mobile PA helps lower the barriers to listening in large and outdoor spaces, as well as increases engagement for students. It provides exceptional audio quality, durability and ease-of-use. Mobile PA is also compatible with Lightspeed microphones, Media Connector and other solutions, helping educators leverage instructional audio in and out of their classroom.

“Being recognized by the THE Journal for the second year in a row is truly rewarding,” said Shaun Fagan, Vice President of Product Development. “When we launched Mobile PA last September, our goal was to provide high speech intelligibility and clear audio to larger, more active learning spaces. We are excited to see the positive impact this product will continue for students’ learning experiences.

“This year’s New Product Awards highlight the vital role that technology plays across all aspects of K-12 education. We are pleased to recognize the winners for their contribution to the ed tech ecosystem that is moving schools forward, enhancing teaching and learning, and supporting students, teachers and administrators alike,” said David Nagel, editor-in-chief of THE Journal.
