The Excellence in Equity Awards program recognizes the companies, leaders, authors, and educators whose tremendous efforts in education are helping schools achieve equity everywhere.

2024 Excellence in Equity Awards

Each and every day, the educators in our schools―teachers, support staff, school administrators, and district leaders―along with their trusted product and service providers take on the challenge of ensuring equity and access for every student, everywhere. This is a critical effort that is foundational to the mission of the education system, and when equity initiatives are successful, there is an incalculable positive effect on potential future outcomes for our learners.

The Excellence in Equity Awards program is designed to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of both educators and industry to improving opportunity and outcomes for students.

Educators from all roles are invited to self-nominate or nominate a peer or colleague for one of eight different award categories designed to honor and highlight the work of classroom faculty, staff, and administrators.

Leaders and marketing departments from edtech, curriculum, and publishing companies are invited to nominate their products and services in more than a dozen different categories―and also nominate educators they know who are doing the work!

Once the submission period ends, a panel of expert judges review all submissions. We then announce the finalists and winners early online and highlight them in the Equity & Access journal.

Nominees, finalists, and winners receive a variety of recognitions and benefits, including digital award badges, article and interview opportunities, media recognition, social media highlights, and more.
