APA Foundation Hosts Free Virtual Town Hall on Mentally Healthy Schools in Times of a Pandemic

On August 19th from [8:00]-9:00 pm ET, the APA Foundation will host a Virtual Town Hall on Mentally-Healthy Schools in Times of a Pandemic.

Across the country, communities and families are challenged by the prospect of sending children back to school. These unprecedented times have impacted us all.

During this virtual town hall , psychiatric experts will participate in a candid discussion about:

  • What to consider when choosing to return to the classroom
  • How to keep both students and staff safe and mentally healthy
  • How to notice changes in behavior that might indicate a need for support
  • How communities can address barriers preventing youth from receiving mental health care

To attend this free event, please register here. To learn more about this and other town halls, visit the APA Foundation’s Events page.
