Equity and Access podcast

As part of its mission to reshape and retool social and emotional learning throughout the country, AASA, The School Superintendents Association, has awarded six school districts with technical assistance, collaborative support and $4,000 grants to further their professional development efforts and strengthen their SEL programs.

Our guests are Theron Schutte, superintendent of Marshalltown Community School District in Iowa and Richard Duggan, Executive Director of Exceptional Education and Student Support Services in Collier County, Florida.

The American Consortium for Equity in Education, publisher of the "Equity & Access" journal, celebrates and connects the educators, associations, community partners and industry leaders who are working to solve problems and create a more equitable environment for historically underserved pre K-12 students throughout the United States.
